This is $929,000 across the street from a highschool which will have up to 2200 students, in PV.  There is some ocean view above the roof tops of the school. The master bedroom has a 3/4 bathroom with no tub.  It's 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, less than 2100 sq. ft..  There is a workshop attached to the 2 car garage in the back that can be Steve's office.  My problem:  highschool ACROSS THE STREET; stop sign right in front of house; "no parking" signs on streets around home;  dismal master bedroom; limited grass/running area for Charlie and future additional dog.   Good things:  location; newly landscaped; there are multi-million dollar homes within walking distance; newly painted; lots of parking on property; good sized living and family rooms:

Here is one for $949,000 in the hills of P.V.,  has a canyon/woods view.  It has 4 bedrooms, 2645 sq ft; 3 bathrooms;

Quiet,beautiful Country Setting W/Pastoral Views And Sparkling "black-Bottom" Pool Sits This Spacious, Bright 4 Bed./3bath Home In Desirable P.V.Ests. Updated Kitchen/Baths, Hardwood Floors And More.  I (Lisa) liked this one so much more.  There was more room, 1 more bath, 1 more bedroom, large back yard.   Problems:  this property needs new fencing on all sides.  It looked like there was drainage damage.  Lots more deferred maintenance than the Dalton property.   I'm not quite sure if you can say this property has "curb appeal."   We are not pool people; the cost for maintaining a pool is unknown to us.   There is a large deck in the back that looks like it has been neglected.  The good:  You can smell pine trees.  VERY QUIET.

In the picture above, we are lucky that Steve's shirt is covering the hole in his pants that shows his underwear.

Here's one built in 1937 that I like a lot, though we didn't like the location - too far from where we want to be.
